Schriever CDC and School Age Parent Advisory Board
What is the Parent Advisory Board you might ask? The parent advisory
board is a group of parents that have a chance to get together with the
CDC and School Age Program staff. It is a great place for parents to
voice recommendations, things you would like to see happen, improvements
to the CDC School Age Program or ask general questions. It is also a
time when the program staff lets the parents know what is going on like
construction, new policies/procedures, staff changes, etc. During this
meeting the parents provide inputs and plan events like the parent
participation plan, yearly school pictures, and staff appreciation week.
It is also a time that the program staff can ask us parents when they
need volunteers to help them out during different events or improvement
efforts of the CDC and School Age Program itself. It is a great time to
meet other parents and have your voice heard! All in all it is a great
way to plug into the Schriever CDC and School Age Program. So be in the
know and attend our next meeting scheduled for 24 June 2010 at 1100 in
